My studio camera takes 15 frames per film roll. For people who are not used to it it seems to be not enough photographs compared to photographers who take hundreds photographs in less than 1 hour in a single photo session.
And the family's father suggested me to make it like an other photographer he knew, to use a digital camera and photograph as many as I wanted until get a good one.
People don't get why I limit myself with mechanical (100% manual) cameras, which uses film rolls. The fact is, if I feel limited I know I am not good enough yet, this is why. I want have total control on the result and all the skills needed to be able to take 15 photographs knowing that at least half of them are good, 4 of them are excellent and 1 of them is kick ass. Instead of shoot a digital camera like a machine-gun trying to hit the target by chance.
Also because I prefer the craft look of film quality result.
