In the drug store chain DM in Germany you will find some film negatives and print services, with affordable prices. I often shop in a DM near home but only recently I thought about experimenting with one of Paradies film negatives they have for sale in the store. The fall is a good season for colour photographs so why not?
I got one Paradies 400 that I paid less than €1.50, I loaded in in my Nikon F3 and went play in the streets of Freiburg.
The company says Paradies 400 is good for bad weather light and action shots. I kind of agree based on my results. It has a good red scale giving a kind of warm look to the image but is also a bit pale, which I think is charming.
In general the result is not bad for such a cheap film negative and I recommend.
