It is not a comic book nor a story book with photographs as mere illustration. It is a book narrated partially with text and partially with photographs. The photographs as first person point of view.
"I had one of those dreams which feels real. It seems that I was even more alive than now that I am awoke, maybe because in the dream I was feeling free. Not only free in the world but from my own thoughts. Free from my place and from my body. I realised I had just woke up when I notice sounds of car engines passing by my window and I felt myself limited by my lazy mussels and my tiredness though I had full rested. " |
The story is about a man wondering about life and society. It explores the body and soul mix of experience, following the character in one of his weekend journey.
"She looked at me when I ordered a drink for her. She actually looked down at my jacket then at my messy her before look at me. Maybe she didn’t look at me and so I didn’t look at her, not in that moment. There wasn’t any interest from both of us on knowing each other. At night I don’t want know people but meet the one I expect." |
The writing and photographs script are ready. What I need now is to create the photos for the book and for this I need to hire a model, outfits, make up artist, an assistant, rent 3 different location, travel tickets, hire a text reviser, and get a couple of light modifiers.
The top 10 supporters who offer the minimum of €500 for my next book project will receive each an exclusive single edition photograph (8x10in) from the book, printed traditionally by myself on silver gelatin, with a dedication letter and signed.
"It was almost dark and a bit cold. Proud families in their cars, girls, ladies and elders caring their daily dreams in their shop bags, getting out from streets before it become a dark and dirty territory of drunks, homeless and sluts. We, the faceless, take the streets while reputable people prepare and rest themselves for the Sunday they will spend with their families." |
